In a world of innovation, Minnesotans must have access to #broadband, and I’m going to push for more investment to level that playing field and to make sure that all of Minnesota’s broadband needs are met. Because if you aren’t connected, you aren’t competing.
You must also fight for Net Neutrality
Please also support Minnesotan's Innovation through support of #NetNeutrality
for open competition on the Internet by joining other senators in a Resolution of Disapproval of the @FCC and @AjitPaiFCC's disastrous ‘Restoring Internet Freedom" Rule.
Hey, I don’t live there but why don’t the people move to regular places with internet instead of bringing internet to them? Must be more cost effective. Just give them the $ you’d pay for cables if they move to a city.
Are you serious? Northern MN is a wonderful place to live. I've lived here my entire life and this is my home. Why should I have to move to a nasty ass city to have good internet? I love my #rurallife
That’s totally fine. I was just thinking if you want something and it’s not where you live maybe they can pay for the costs of getting you to it instead of it to you.
Why should it be that way ? They got water and electricity, both of which are HARDER to provide than internet. But are provided by companies less corrupt than the cartel of ISPs.
Water comes from our own personal well. Electricity is easy, REA has deep roots. But one thing you'll find about us Northerners, is that we can easily go off grid. City dwellers, good luck.
And we need net neutrality!!!
Yes, and don't forget that it needs to be open and equally accessible to all!
Don’t forget the horrible & expensive “service” Comcast “provides” your constituents in the twin cities. Stop ISP monopolies & get other providers in our state.
Maine too.
Who pays?
Go get 'em Senator! Make us Frankenites, we American patriots, and you Minnesotans proud.
