This is coded language for reduced funding for public education isn’t it?

Not well coded. The choice is: Gut public education. Funnel money to Devos in exchange for campaign money. The rich can pay for good schools.

Or choose to fund public schools. Are you afraid if you educate NC children they will grow in to intelligent adults who don’t vote against their own best interests? #onetermthom

Our public schools are in crisis. They don’t have the right to turn away kids like charter and private schools do. We have to start fully funding our public schools so that we have an educated citizenry and workforce.

Yeah, that's just great and all... But what about those that don't really have a "choice"? Just appropriate funds so every kid has a chance instead of pushing a systemic disenfranchisement agenda, then complaining about people needing to "live on the system." FIX THAT!!!

Just really sick of the @GOP "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" agenda on one had while they grease the donors with the other hand - see the #TaxScamBill, Citizen's United, etc... Give people a chance to earn $ for BOOTS, then maybe they can pull themselves up by the STRAPS.

It would be far better to fully fund public education in NC after you led significant budget cuts to per pupil spending when you were in the GA. My daughter is in her 11th year of school in best district in the state and still there are resource challenges. Shameful!

School choice means nothing if schools are underfunded. You started the decline of NC schools while you were in the state legislature. We need funding & new schools in NC yet you are taking money from our kids with your pandering to corporate donors. I support #PublicEducation

He knows that and that’s why he’s doing it. The man has no use for poor and disadvantaged children in NC. Taking away their education is of no importance to him.
