We should not be separating children migrants from their families. Congress can take action to provide better long-term certainty and consistency on this issue in a way that does not incentivize unauthorized border crossings. (1/3)

Our nation is long-overdue for commonsense immigration reform, particularly when it comes to providing a path to naturalization for DACA recipients and securing our borders. (2/3)

I believe we can strike the right balance between being compassionate—especially towards children who were brought here through no fault of their own—and also being smart by taking steps needed to prevent future illegal immigration. (3/3)

So far your actions show you to be complicit. I will not believe otherwise until you put county over party. Makes me wonder how deep the corruption in the Republican Party.

I didn't elect you to be my representative in Congress so you could spend all your time figuring out how to give illegal aliens citizenship. Stop betraying the citizens of North Carolina and the US by trying to legalize the invasion of our nation.

Ah, but the president has surrounded himself by people who do not actually want common sense immigration reform. They just want the easy votes that come from the hard right by being anti-immigrant. So where does that leave us, sir?

So why were you one of the senators who went to the White House to work with Stephen Miller to torpedo the bipartisan immigration bill that could have passed? Your own GOP senators threw you off their working group because you couldn't keep your story straight. #DoubleSpeak

You're talking about one of the most difficult legislative issues in decades. Bipartisan immigration reform is SO hard. This is simple, stop using Central and South American kids as political hostages and then move on to a bipartisan immigration reform.

You say we should not be separating children from their families - please help stop this now! We need to see a list of who the children are, how long they have been held, and when/how they are released. Where are the girls? Where are the babies?

Thank you Senator for your leadership. High skilled immigrants are languishing in 150 year wait for GC. Their children are in exactly the same situation as DACA. They are born in the US, know no other country than the US, and have to self deport if their parents lose job. (1/2).
