Because the current industry pollutes, is not a renewable resource, affects the health and safety of the employees, has negative environmental impact. Renewable energy resources help our planet and move us forward but again the GOP clings to the past

Resisting to change will only retard the inevitable, Keep on promoting the oil industry and when it will be dead Texas will have no where to sell its oil and wont be prepared to work with green energy lacking expertise and resources.

And nuclear power is completely left out even though it has no emissions. Nuclear power is the future. Especially with laser technology being developed to neutralize waste.

I'm sorry, no emissions? Just radiation with a expiration date of a million years? I'm not okay with destroying the planet with deadly waste, whether oil or plutonium.

Good!!!! American energy “As we know it” needs to be destroyed and on its bones, build greener, sustainable energy like solar, wind energy, geo thermal, and tidal. Wouldn’t be too opposed to nuclear. Kill the oil companies while we are at it. GOP policies are killing the planet

This reminds me of a infamous saying - "If Biden is elected, the stock market will crash". Some things never change. Republicans are so blind to real life issues.
