The uptick in crime and lawlessness across America is correlated to the lack of respect for Police &Justice system by our elected officials and the scenes of public disorder Arson of Courthouses &Police Precincts are cues to commit street-violence w/o fear of reprisal

My take is that big chunk of fault lies with the police who choose to stand aside rather than honoring their pledge to serve and protect. Sometimes they don't even answer 911 calls, too scary to come out of their HQs and squad cars. Hey! They are reputedly trained and equipped.
