whats going to happen, a hot economy for year or 2, which will be killed by rising interest rates and record inflation and a full collapse of the housing market
-
-
-
What still is so misunderstood is that the housing market collapsed because dumbocrats felt everyone should own a home even if they could not afford the mortgage. Allowed banks to sell bad loans for these homes knowing they could not be paid. Not locking in interest. SOCIALISM
-
Carl! So what does your president do in response? He puts "the poor, innocent" bankers & wall street whales (who made out like bandits while the WHOLE country suffered) in CHARGE of the treasury & tax scam...
-
Our president cut taxes. Our 44th president presided over a housing crisis of governments own making. Owning a house is not a right. Your liberal representatives are to blame. And Osama bailed out the banks. Trump would never had let the crisis happen.

#Bias in Plain Sight 200,000 bonused. 1,000 jobs eliminated. less than 1/2 of 1 percent. 600 jobs from legacy services, (do you still use a rotary phone, even know what that is?) and eligible for other jobs within att.#FactsMatter All of them.#TaxReformhttps://twitter.com/ylanmui/status/946000215164715008 … -
Can we apply the same logic to coal and fossil fuel jobs?

What's sad
@SenSchumer is that you were rejoicing at this news. -
What’s sad is you are sad about wrong thing, this is no about Schumer
-
It absolutely is. Unemployment goes down, hundreds of thousands of jobs being created monthly, wage raises are announced for thousands, hundreds of thousands of bonuses are announced, new capital investment is announced and Chucky latches on to the AT&T layoff news.
-
How is unemployment going down when this is an announcement of a layoff?I guess you just a die hard,GOP supporter that just melts when you hear the Lee Atwater type strategies that’s design to ensnare not empower Look out for the CRASH!!

Thinking and logic are hard for them. Along with math, English, history, empathy...

It’s hard to think when they are followers!!

AT&T would rather lay off employees than retrain...I am an employee that was surplus in September.
@att does not want employees just contractors -
Ikr,they said they would offer different positions but why fire them IF!!!!...you have positions to offer??

A bold lie from Schumer. He is counting on the fact that no one will read the article and realize the layoffs were announced BEFORE the tax bill was voted on. Ignores the $200million being paid to workers because of the tax cuts.
-
And that there's a guaranteed job placement within the Co.

This is from the article.maybe instead of using headlines as a tool to divide the country: . Many of the affected employees have a job offer guarantee that ensures they’ll be offered another job with the company, and we’ll work to find other jobs for as many of them as possible.
-
That is not what that article says. It says they will try to place the employees. Most will be without jobs. When companies say they "will try" that usually means they wont try.
-
I copied it from the article.
-
Schumer is calling out the hypocrisy and it is 100% correct. When these companies do layoff they always place some with jobs while majority are unemployed. That is point he is making. More unemployed . How is that
