Dreamers & antifa r the only base u have left. U should reexamine what your own donors told u: To "change course because wealth should be inspirational" Your party is broke & your donors have abandoned u, yet u double down against working Americans. Get a job!

But just what is the plan by the Democratic Party to make this happen? In case you hadn't notice we're ready (Virginia; Alabama, NJ) C'mon Chuck, give us the god damn plan. If you think
@GOP rues anything, you aren't paying attention. -
I’d like to hear - “we’re already working to repeal and replace this Tax Bill. “

Show your voters that you deserve their faith - get DACA and CHIP done or
#ShutItDown -
This! Why not?
-
because they don't trust that democratic voters will show up if they do something bold (because we typically haven't). This isn't 2010.
-
I saw an analogy once that went something like, it's like the dems and GOP are at a board game night, the GOP sets the house on fire, and the dems are more worried about following the game rules. They've got to do something drastic.
-
the problem is, historically, democratic voters are more fickle than republican voters, which is why dems have gotten so timid. They don't know how to deal with a base that will back them if they go big.
-
I get how they got this way, but if something doesn't wake them up, we're screwed.
-
It seems like their general inclination has been to move center when they fear losing voters, but what I've been seeing (and granted my POV is limited) is more former dems jumping ship for DSA or other farther-left movements. It drives me nuts that they seem blind to that.
-
it's because the folks who are traditionally farther left (young folks especially) don't vote regularly. Think of it this way, there's a reason the Tea Party took over the GOP but Occupy didn't affect Dems. Because they voted in primaries & most GOP voters will vote for any R.
