Repealing #NetNeutrality rules was like a last minute Christmas gift from the @FCC to the biggest players in the internet market. Yesterday, the FCC tied the bow with their disastrous vote.

Congress must act. That's why I am throwing my full support behind a resolution to restore the 2015 Open Internet Order & put our much-needed #netneutrality rules back in place.

in an ad to promote repeal of #NetNeutrality FCC chairman Ajit Pai seen dancing with a woman who is involved with promoting the 'pizza-gate' conspiracy against Hillary. As a woman of Indian origin, disgusted with and ashamed of Ajit Pai.

Interesting thought. The Internet and most of the core technologies it is based on were created by and or funded by....the US Government. It has become a tool to spawn innovation, bring education to underserved. Now the potential is there for the benefits to be erased

I'm as well shocked to the idea of a potential "book burning" equivalent in the 21ist century, but I also understand how our society has a strong libertarian base that we cannot fight. I really hope for the few vigilant and virtuous to take the best of the new internet.

It creates an opportunity or necessity for the wireless providers to enhance the reliability to homes. They very well could disrupt the market and keep the likes of Verizon, Comcast, etc in check. If successful prices could drop and consumers win.

Lets hope this goes in favor of the average joe knowing how to take advantage of the internet, this situation might turn on their behalf. Also public libraries have a more realistic chance to provide a more accurate search in some topics, also lets hope for people to see it.

No. TBH, they were for the good of everyone. Anyone can setup a website without negotiating with ISPs for traffic lanes (payment). In fact, @google, @facebook & @netflix are so quiet in this fight cos they are big & they can afford to pay. Small businesses & indie will be crushed

They were quiet? Their manipulation of opinion is so effective that you didn't notice. But that begs the question how manipulative do they have to be? Anymore not much.

Please enlighten me. How? In 2015, they spend a lot lobbying but this time around nothing. I was actually disappointed in them for not standing up for fairness just cos they got big & can afford it. It was all small businesses which have been making all the noise
