How can you stop the madness? Please provide actionable steps for the public to be heard. I live in a state where my representatives are all democrats and feel hopeless against the backdoor self dealing going on with @SenateMajLdr and @SpeakerRyan - this is not tax reform!

Well said Martha! The greed & the lying this adminstration performs is unconscionable!

Get mad
@SenSchumer! Start talking to the press, get you mr fellow senators on the same talking points and hit the Sunday shows. We’re looking soft compared to GOP. -
The DNC is lacking leadership and a message. We must find BOTH, and find them FAST!

Not to be morbid...in light of the NK missile test today... The last time we had a “tax cut” & a war at the same time lead to a huge recession/depression under the Bush administration. Are we about to repeat history again? Yet another reason to kill the tax bill.
#GOPTaxScam -
Recession is coming. Right behind the tax cuts. Weak dollar is Paul Revere, but the Rs are determined to get this thing passed. Dead people (no insurance) with no money (recession, stock market crash) can’t vote against them.
-
I'm praying at least 4 people some semblance of a conscious left will vote NO! Why not McCain, Cooker and Flake? They are on their way out with nothing to lose and respect to gain if they stand up for the people!
-
Very true. History will remember
@SenJohnMcCain very favorably. He has been a very stand up man so far, even during his run for pres. -
I’d stop short of “very favorably”. He’s an honorable man, but most often he’s voted with his party, even when the vote was for reprehensible policy or despicable people. Still, he has served his country honorably and deserves our respect.
-
I do agree. That is something
#Republicans as a whole have to reconcile with themselves. But when it has been huge, and because his career is probably drawing to a close, -
If he makes the right decisions here, he'll be remembered as somewhat of a savior.
-
I have good thoughts of McCain and wish him well. I hope he makes the right choices in his last term.
