We don’t have any time to waste in addressing the issues that confront us, so we’re going to continue to negotiate with Republican leaders who may be interested in reaching a bipartisan agreement.

Come on Chuck! You Dems are looking like Trumps favorite thing to grab! Stand up and FIGHT! You did exactly what he wanted you to do. You need to constantly be pushing against him and his agenda. Vociferously! This two party system is broken! Both sides need to do their damn job!
-
They're putting the baby in a corner and meeting with the ppl they actually need to work with. Trump doesn't matter, Congress does.
-
Exactly, the adults have come to the bargaining table. Let's hope they can work together now.
-
I agree that Trump doesn't matter, other than the fact that he is the final word on any law. The Dems are making the same mistake the GOP did the 8yrs of the Obama administration by just resisting. They need to just keep hammering the agenda every time there's a camera around.
-
Trump is a narcicsist. The Dems could flip him quick. Just kiss his ass until we can get him out of office.
-
But the Dems got agreement out of him about Dreamers and he went back on it, so that did nothing but make Dems look silly.
-
No, it made them look like they care and he doesn't. That makes him look bad. The Dems should hold daily press confrences. I see Republicans talking to cameras more. Every day come out and just tell the people the truth about what the Rep. are doing, and why its bad for us & US.
-
Dems already know they care. Dems also know Trump doesn't care. Trump fans don't care about anything but Trump making Dems look bad or silly, which in their eyes he did.

I think it’s great that people stop giving trump what he wants.
-
I totally agree. He thinks he's a dictator, it's nice to refresh his memory that we govern by democracy : ) It may have worked in business, but it's certainly not how it works in Washington.

Thank you for standing up for us I'm a senior depending on Social Security and Medicare. My supplemental insurance rates just increased. We need help.
-
Definitly need a bipartisan approach on the costs of healthcare. Between that and education, I don't believe there are higher priorities. Sure as hell not a wall.

His bff Bannon is salivating over a shutdown. And tRump wants to blame it on Dems. This is a damn good move.
-
He likely DOES want a shutdown. The GOP has enabled him for over a year. Here’s the best these old treasonweasels made, let them lay in it!!!
-
HIGH TIME his stank gets allllll over the GOP. God I hope they keep it up and dont fold.
