Does @SenSchumer understand science? Carbon dioxide is necessary for plants to create oxygen. #science101https://twitter.com/SenSchumer/status/839897486760296448 …

In high concentrations prevalent today, carbon dioxide leads to global warming and ocean acidification. That's a fact
-
.
@bantyranny Won’t deny higher concentrations can be dangerous, & should be looked at in depth, but classifying CO2 as pollutant is too far.https://twitter.com/bantyranny/status/839908115587952640 … -
then how do you propose regulating it if it isn't a pollutant? We can't continue to let CO2 emissions go unregulated
-
obviously no one is trying to say that NATURAL CO2 emissions from aspiration etc should be regulated, but...
-
Mercury is unsafe only at certain levels. At others it is safe. Still, all would agree it is a pollutant.

Because Congress definitely knows more than scientists! ;-)

whenever I have a bad cough, I don't turn to a doctor (too sciencey). I consult with the nearest Congressperson

How about we leave science to scientists?
-
how bout we leave protecting the environment to people who care about protecting the environment?

Hopefully there's more of us than them!
