It’s also confounding that the common thread thus far in the cases Kavanaugh is willing to openly criticize is their relation to presidential power & accountability.

Kavanaugh CHANGED HIS POSITION after working for Starr , 9/11 and working for Bush but before this president sought to load this bench.

Good point. What happened to all those sports tickets? And the other expenses that were so severe he had to dip into his TSP (retirement account) to pay them off?

You think? Not trying to be disrespectful, but I think everyone knows this already. I really would like to know about what is being done to stop Kavanaugh from being confirmed--ever.
-
We the people need to convince our Senators to stop him from being confirmed. Schumer is giving us talking points for when we call, email and send postcards to our Senators. A massive citizen response can stop this nominee from being confirmed.
-
I hope you are right about the people having a say about this.

"Vote of our Lifetime" should B Dems slogan 4 2018 & nix the bland, unimaginative, "For the People". That's almost as WORSE as "Better Deal". Get a little powerful & profound, Y don't u guys. This election IS
#VoteofaLifetime 4#TeamAmerica. And u should get@alfranken back 2.

Then block him, refuse to have a vote, the same way McConnel blocked Garland. The GOP walks all over you guys because you let them. Dig in and halt as much as you legally can until this nightmare is over. Grow conviction!
-
McConnell was able to block Merrick Garland because he's the majority leader. Democrats are the minority party and while it used to take 60 votes and the minority party could filibuster that is no longer the case since McConnell changed the Senate rules. Dems can't really stop it
