Our vets still deserve our help and support. It is possible to care about more than one thing at a time.

Seems to me your position and voice are better served on bigger issues right now.

Our vets still need our help, too. It is possible to care about more than one thing at a time.

The poor post office. Demonized by Republicans for decades. And for nothing. They want to make it private. Try sending a letter or package to Alaska or Hawaii or Puerto Rico for less than what the USPS charges. Yep. Try it.

Trump admin suppressed report that the water at/near 126+ military installations contains potentially harmful levels of perfluorinated compounds. Trump taunts Sen. McCain. Now USPS blocks veterans' tradition. What has this admin got against vets/military?

What makes you think a government that puts babies & toddlers into prison would care about selling poppies for veterans? Chuck, you need to think bigger about your protests. Get rid of this fascist regime.
-
It is possible to care about more than one thing at a time. My dad, a WWII veteran, distributed poppies and proudly wore one. I wear them now in his memory. And for Danny, Robert, Josh and all the others we owe so much to. Let's not forget where we came from.
-
Alas, Chuck Schumer is unable to make strong statements about anything and worse, he tries to silence
@RepMaxineWaters. My respect for Schumer is fading. -
Oh I agree but still love the poppies and helping vets.
-
I do, too. They were a part of my childhood. There would be a box of them on every grocery store check out line and my mother would always ask if I wanted one instead of candy. I was so fascinated by the poppies that I always said, "Yes!"--that was back in CA in the 50s.

While you're at it why not take away the prepayment for retiree benefits that is the single reason USPS is ever in the red.
