Amy Coney Barrett is a judge on the Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit & on @realDonaldTrump’s pre-approved list for SCOTUS. She passed his “litmus test” on overturning Roe v. Wade & striking down the ACA. Here’s where she stands on Americans' big issues:

The bottom line: Judge Barrett has given every indication that she will be an activist judge on the Court. If chosen as the nominee, she will be the deciding vote to overturn Roe v. Wade and to strike down pre-existing conditions protections in the ACA.

Wasn't Dred Scott settled law?

Me thinks you don’t agree with all judicial decisions. Since you and people in black robes are not infallible, it doesn’t hurt to look at previous decisions. Remember that separate and equal was enshrined law. Take off the partisan blinders and be fair.

Slavery was once 'settled precedent' in America. I know Democrats didn't like that being revisited either. Hmm?

Correction: If you agreed with "Stare Decisis," slavery and integration would have never received a 2nd look by

So you think that when the Supreme Court ruled that slavery was constitutional it should have stayed settled?
-
OK but point of fact: the Supreme Court never overruled itself to make slavery illegal. The Constitution was changed by the 13th Amendment.
-
So was the Supreme Court wrong to rule that slavery was constitutionally protected? Or was Lincoln violating the constitution when he invaded the south and freed the slaves with the emancipation proclamation?
-
Are you fking nuts? Constitutionally protected? Yes, but they FKING ORDERED -- see that word, ORDERED that blacks are not human beings. Got that? Too complicated? They FKING ORDERED -- see that word ordered-- that government must protect slavery -- even where it voted out?

I feel like maybe I missed a few tweets here?

dont worry about the damn tweets, worry about what the fk Southern leaders did -- who they killed, who they bragged about killing, 1855 on. WTF is this not taught --you can't get more basic re Civil War

So laughable! You only cite “stare decisis” when you agree with the precedent.

Plessey v. Ferguson, Dred Scott, Lochner...all "settled law in the courts" all overturned because they were wrong.

Would you have SCOTUS uphold Korematsu v. US based on “stare decisis”?

Chuck the
#misogynist apparently wishes Plessy was still in effect. You know, stare decisis and all. Then again, he is in the party of slavery, so that would make sense.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
