So today @SenateDems & @HouseDemocrats are standing up for public employees – teachers, nurses & health care providers, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, librarians, correctional officers – w/ our #ABetterDeal bill to protect the right to organize & bargain collectively.

We need sustained responses from Dems on every GOP lie. They repeat lies so much without pushback, that’s how we got where we are today.
-
@SenSchumer please get a spine and hand some out to those Dems who are not doing all they can to save our country. Thank you. - 2 more replies

Hey Chuck. Try showing some class and respecting the courts decision, instead of trying to push unconstitutional legislation to get around it.

This courts decision was horrible. It will qualify more people for government programs. Unions offer pensions or 401k’s. My man collects 2 pensions and added that into his Social Security he does not need taxpayers money to live. Unions help people when they retire.
-
No one is keeping you from joining a union. Read the damn decision.
-
True, but the whole thing was about a man who did not want to be in the union, did not agree with the union's politics yet he was forced to pay a portion of his check to the union.

Do everything you can to block the nominee. Not just posturing. We expect a fight.

No, the ruling still allows people to join the unions if they want to... now, they don’t have to. Isn’t that choice a good thing? The ‘gut punch ‘ is to your fund raising from these unions.
-
1/They shouldn’t be forced to pay for it if they don’t want it but they also shouldn’t be able to benefit from collective bargaining. They should have to negotiate their own pay & benefits, not be covered by what the union bargained for the benefit of its members.
-
2/ The people in the neighborhood behind ours are very nice people. They don’t pay into our HOA fees so they aren’t allowed to use our neighborhood pool which our fees pay for. It should work both ways.
