.@SpeakerRyan wants to pass a massive bill that may not even pass the House & couldn’t pass Senate, @SenateGOP are supposedly eyeing a bill @realDonaldTrump wouldn’t sign even if it made it to his desk& @POTUS continues to try to use separated fams as hostages in the leg process.

Obama is gone Chuck. That’s not how this works anymore. You are now actually required to work for your tax payer funded salary.
-
You do know that trump signed more EOs than all the past presidents and it hasn’t even been 2 years into his term?
-
You do know that 90% of them are reversing Obama EO’s and bureaucratically imposed regulations? And it took him 2 years to get through them all.

@senschumer, If this Republican Congress brought a clean bill that will no longer allow separation (after confirmation of parentage to keep kids from traffickers) would you vote for it? Or would you not so you could be outraged since Dems have no policies to lean on?#fakeoutrage -
They tried. Schumer rejected even the notion of it....https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/06/chuck-schumer-rejects-mitch-mcconnells-call-for-family-separation-legislation.html …

And in case you're not sure how this works, POTUS cannot make a policy that breaks the law. Laws are made by Congress and the Senate......

Actually, it's enforcing the law.

It is a policy to separate the children from their family.

Hey Chuckles, funny thing about your job: you get to pass laws. Right? Or did you think preening in front of cameras was your job? Anyway, change the existing law and this problem goes away. But you don't want it to go away, do you?
-
Physics geek, are you interested in the children or not?
-
That question does not address my point. The Flores amendment, passed by Congress, is the problem here, one which Congress could immediately repeal to prevent this problem, yet they choose not to do so.
