The Trump Administration’s just-proposed decision against raising mileage for US vehicles to over 50 miles/gallon will further contribute to increased costs for average drivers. States ought to resist.

Chucky I followed you recently to see what your all about and your much like @KamalaHarris it seems that you don’t mingle with the majority of Americans. A bit out of touch to say the least. Taking your advise would be like asking a monkey to fix my car.

The cost of cars is raising much faster than incomes. Maybe the government is a part of the problem here instead of the solution?

Yeah!!! What he said! Shumer merely wants people to believe what he says. But he knows even better than we do what a GREAT job Trump is doing. New dem candidates are running on Trump's agenda at schumer's instruction them to.

No, Democrats in Congress ought to resist so much the nation really pays attention to the costs. Stop trying to make the people do your part to resist and theirs. That is another reason why the people are pissed at Democrats. Your slick laziness.

No. Automobile manufacturers should invest/improve/expand selection s of affordable electric only vehicles. Along with incentives, states should follow suit by providing charging spaces and infrastructure to support these zero emissions vehicles.

Gov should be researching alternative energy and approaching it as they did computers. Then this would not be an issue. new homes would require rooftop gardens and solar panels, deserts could be used for solar and wind and people could be paid for producing more energy than use

1 of 2. It’s called gas taxes @SenSchumer - I live in California and our gas prices are some of the highest in the country, notwithstanding our proximity to resources, but because our liberal, keep raising taxes politicians tax the h@ll out of gas at the pump.

If government should regulate anything, they should regulate themselves from continuous tax hikes that predominantly hurt the lower middle and poor!

And it contributes to people leaving California and being unable to find affordable housing in the state. We left in '96, it was a mess then.
