    Senator Ben Sasse‏Verified account @SenSasse May 24

Kim Jong Un is a murderous despot and habitual liar. The President made the right call to cancel this summit. If North Korea wants diplomacy, it should know that half-measures and spin about its nuclear program won’t cut it.

Perhaps he shouldn’t have made the coins thou or told everyone he was going to get a @NobelPrize, or bragged about what a brilliant peace maker he is.pic.twitter.com/B6KE0vlmJL

Yeah, I thought he was being a bit premature. On the plus side, I can say “I told you so” to every Trumplican who claimed Trump’s brilliant dealmaking skills was going to result in NK giving up its nukes.

He was a murderous despot when this sham of a “summit” was planned and DJT created a coin honoring the despot and shilled for his own Nobel Prize. Give me a freaking break.

Also they didn’t tell ROK before they pulled the plug. Sasse needs to accept that the GOP/Trump have destroyed our value as an ally.

Did you just find out that Kim Jong Un is a murderous despot & liar? That was true when trump said Kim Jon Un was honorable & took good care of the americans he kidnapped, forgetting that the North Koreans effectively killed Otto Warmbier.

Boy...it’s almost like we need some sort of govt department that we could fill with experts from each country that could do all the work for us behind the scenes BEFORE the President gets involved. We could call them diplomats or something. Just spitballing.
