Oh, now is the time for decorum? What about when Merrick Garland was nominated.

Hopefully 45 is in the last year of his presidency. Isn’t it now precedent not to confirm a new justice? Can we wait until Mueller wraps up his investigation before we allow an illegitimate president another SC justice nom who has the power to change the course of history?

If Mueller's investigation proves that Trump is compromised, then there is damn good argument to impeach his appointees as well.

Sir, you state the nation has a chance to celebrate our system of checks & balances...realize the Senate, the House & the SCOTUS have reneged on their oaths of office by allowing a lawless POTUS to abuse his powers of office & drag this nation thru the mud, betraying alliances.🤨

Now I realize you will gladly continue in your obeisance to the trump admin, you will refuse to hold POTUS accountable for his abuse of the powers of office, his unilateral EO's that have gone against the public will & even the will of Congress. You will stay silent, complicit.🤨

I doubt even that you will read this. The GOP is purposeful in its refusal to go by the will of the US populace. So I doubt this does any good, will not change your party line voting on the trump's abysmal demands. You will stay complicit w/ a POTUS that has been bought by Putin.

So this is written w/ only one purpose...to lodge my protest against any continued support of a lawless POTUS who is in league w/ Putin, sells his power of office, is ignorant, can't read, reveals state secrets to hostile foreign powers, obstructs justice & is an acknowledged liar

"The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice." - Mitch McConnell @SenSasse & @SenatorFischer Will you request to wait until after mid term election to allow the American people to speak or will you rush a confirmation hearing?

You’re tone deaf here, Ben. You made this into a red vs blue thing and the blues are ENRAGED.Separation of powers is essentially dead now and we’re approaching tyranny. The founders had the good sense to compromise when warranted; Republicans wield power without limit or wisdom.

Nope. It’s not time for you and the Christian Conservative coalition to stomp out the remaining few rights of women, gays, and anyone who practices a different religion than you. Based on the logic of your @SenMajLdr you need to wait until the next Congress is seated in January

You do realize that McConnell denied the majority of us who voted for Obama with his obstructive refusal to allow a vote on Garland. That was wrong. Now, you can right it by waiting until after the election. We deserve a voice this time.

What a hypocrite you are @SenSasse. You helped hold open a SC seat for 13 months because it wasn't fair to "the people" who had an election coming up. Well, #November6 is an upcoming election. How can you advocate for appointment in August or September? #VoteSasseOutin2020

I hate to tell you Kristen, but Sasse is a hypocrite of the worst kind. Just look at all those times he’s said stern words & then voted as he was told to like every other mindless Republican. He may as well slap on his headphones, listen to Nickelback all day, & do nothing.
