#OnThisDay more than 70 years ago, Allied troops stormed the shores of France during World War II. Today, we honor the 160,000 troops who fought their way onto the beaches and we tell the story of one Nebraskan whose work made it possible. #DDaypic.twitter.com/izniPgV3ak

Remembering Andrew Jackson Higgins on D-Day
Our enemies hated him. Hitler complained he was the “New Noah.” For us and our allies, though, Higgins was a hero. Eisenhower raved: “Andrew Higgins is the man who won the war for us.”

How about you honor your oath, Ben, and do something, anything, to defend the Constitution against Trump’s corruption?

They stormed the beaches fighting a dictator. Don’t let their sacrifices go to waste and let @realDonaldTrump trample the #Constitution.

And its been 112 days since the worst school “so far” in US history. How I wish I could tell you a story of one Nebraska senator who refused the NRA, took a stand and made a difference. I have plenty of war stories to share sir, you’re ignoring the war for our children’s safety.

Those brave men would be sickened by what is going on in DC. You are a part of this. You dishonor their bravery, their sacrifice by enabling those that spread hate, bigotry, intolerance, and lies.

He never really recovered from seeing the horrors of war. We are letting the same happen to our current military. We need to be SO much better at supporting them.

Thank God the British fought as hard as they did to hold off the Germans as long as they did, so we could come in and save the day. I wonder how many lives would have been saved if we'd started fight and supporting our allies sooner. Lesson: Don't ignore trouble when it's small.

You don't honor these men. Supporting Trump, who considers himself above the law and an Absolute Ruler, means you do not support our country, or the men and women who died to defend it.

Appreciate the sentiment, but GOP is literally frightening millions of people with your inaction to reign in the known money launderer in our WH. Now you refuse to say he can't pardon himself LOUD AND CLEAR? Horror right now thanks to all of you.

That $2 trillion tax give-away for the ultra-wealthy would have gone a long way toward keeping Social Security and Medicare solvent.

To a criminal investigator it's *suspicious as hell* that Hannity talks to Trump about legal strategy multiple times weekly—they even share a lawyer—and then Hannity goes on TV and "jokes" that witnesses against Trump should feloniously destroy evidence amd tamper with witnesses.
