3 Bil$ that would've went to a company that doesn't pay taxes and would have helped derail the local economy by hiring people outside of the local community and raising the property value thus raising rent, was saved from entering an already uber-wealthy company's coffers.

It's always really sad when people think that job creation is the only thing worth talking about in economics. There is so much more to this issue than the number of jobs created, and the people who ACTUALLY understand all of it made the right decision.
