When you raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour all prices will go up. And a loaf of bread will be just as far away from being affordable as it was when the minimum wage was the current amount

It’s a big step in the right direction. $21K is the poverty point below which ppl qualify for fed aid programs, like food stamps. $7.25/hr adds up to $15K/yr, but $15/hr adds up $31+K/yr, allowing hardworking ppl to support themselves without assistance from your tax$.

I agree, big corporations buying out markets and out competing small businesses need to be regulated so that the average worker can be paid a liveable wage without their (small business) employer losing out because of big corps with bottomless pockets.
