This has gotten ridiculous. You attack Amazon every single day.

Have you bothered to find out why?
-
Yes. It’s because Sanders wants to tell Amazon what it should pay its employees.
-
How dare he suggest that an employer pay his employees a living wage. The nerve of him.
-
They work there because it’s their best option.
-
And it's an awful option, which says a lot about survival today.
-
Poverty is bad. Undermining the free market creates more of it. Let’s not kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Billions have been lifted out of poverty worldwide by the free market system.

Free markets cause dickensian outcomes bro

How come the Amazon employees don’t just quit and go get a job that pays them what they feel they should be paid? Are they slaves? Employees are vendors selling their labor. Why would you buy from someone when you can get it cheaper elsewhere?
-
Boy that's a solution right there. I wonder why the Amazon employees didn't think of that idiot. Because most of us are on workers comp from being injured on faulty equipment. That's why
-
"Most" Amazon Employees are on Workers Comp ?? I would think that would be all over the news.
-
I agree. If 50% of any company’s employees are getting injured on the job, it would be a top headline. OSHA would be shutting that place down. That claim sounds a bit overstated.
-
I work at the biggest California Amazon warehouse and I can tell you I've suffered several injuries, including my hip, back, feet, wrists, and hands. and during Prime week and peak season (holidays) the place that handles onsite injuries has a revolving door of associates daily
-
They give workers mandatory 5 12 hour shifts throughout peak season (november-december) and you can't use vacation time (blackout period) and unless you need an ambulance they will not excuse you from work if you are injured that day. If you don't have the hours to cover it
-
I tried working for Amazon last year but couldn't take the mandatory OT during the holidays. I worked 3 12 hour shifts, The joke is the half hour lunch and paltry breaks, Managers would combine them so we had 45 minutes (combo of lunch + break) and people cheered that shit.
-
the best part is how you only get a "10 minute" break with 2 and half minutes to and back. So if you aren't back on the dot they scan your badge and can and will give you a disciplinary for being "late" Like correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure we get a 15 minute break.

I think asking this question is like asking if people work for the government. A postal worker and a senator are going to have vastly different experiences, including income and work condition. Same goes for a Corp desk job or a mega warehouse job (at Amazon).
-
Every person's experience matters.

Why do i get the feeling that we won't hear any of the positive experiences that are shared?
-
if you want a positive experience from Amazon why don't you go look up the ambassador's that are being paid $50 gift cards to say nice things about Amazon
-
Because asking for honesty from socialists is too much?
