They're all like this. Have you gone job hunting lately?pic.twitter.com/Xd2nksABkG

This was all caused by massive cuts in the top tax rates. When the govt was going to keep most of the many $ millions there was no incentive to screw the workers. Once those top tax rates were cut way down it unleashed the greed of the CEO’s and owners of the companies.
-
This is true! The Reagan tax cuts substantially accelerated the wealth gap.

Absolutely!

People should stop relying on the government... Not happy at your job? get another one. Cant get a better one? learn some new skills and try again. Too lazy to try to adapt to the employer's demand? well thats your problem not the company's...
-
That's a fair point. However, "new skills" take 1-4 years to aquire and cost money. That doesn't help someone now, and some people will never have the money necessary to go to a trade school or college.

You’re right William, he was speaking from a Republican standpoint.

If a 30-year-old is working an entry level job at Disney and “going hungry,” I’d like to ask them where the hell they went wrong in life. These are entry level jobs meant for teenagers to teach the value of work and money. They are not meant for adults!
-
Fair and well if you've had the luck of being born into a family who have established themselves and secured financial security. The struggle and barriers if you haven't been lucky enough, is something you couldn't possibly comprehend with the sounds of it. You lucky devil you.
-
That doesn't fly. Work ethic knows no income level. Don't blame luck, its laziness. If they can't work hard or get smart enough to ensure a better life for their children, they shouldn't have children. Not can't, just shouldn't. If they do anyway, hopefully their kids are smarter
-
Each generation of children will be smarter IMO. My parents had terrible lives... adoption, abuse, poverty- you name it. They did better than their parents, if I choose to have children I'll do better than my parents. For some adults that junior level job is a massive achievement
-
I’m damn lucky to have been born in the US, but after that luck has nothing to do with it. It’s all about making GOOD CHOICES. Food and credit are BOTH very cheap and accessible in this country, so nobody should be “going hungry” unless they’re continuing to make poor choices!

Why? Because he doesn't agree with You? Because he thinks people should be accountable to themselves? Yeah, responsibility is really shitty.
-
I am not talking about responsibility, I am talking about fairness and accessibility. You asume, quite wrongly that all or most of Disney employees ended in their desperation b/c of poor choices. The problem with that is that to make bad choices you need to have some first.
