The @CSIRO continues to fail the transparency test. It should not be conducting foreign research including with Wuhan scientists unless strictly in the national interest. A full review of @CSIRO’s foreign research programs is critical. @SharriMarksonhttps://www.theaustralian.com.au/nation/sarah-henderson-calls-for-csiro-review-after-revelations-of-wuhan-work/news-story/5f784da8f24c61ced1ce670b1cf30af6 …

Can’t understand why this only hit the news today as it was on Twitter at the beginning of the Covid crisis. Lots of information…was no-one looking?

We might find the truth behind the claims and counter claims that @ScottMorrisonMP was warned on Covid in December 2019 by CSIRO and they recommended closing borders asap

So this seems to be a global problem @MichaelChongMP is trying to get answers about some scientist with connections to the Wuhan lab as well.

Meanwhile the GOVERNMENT continue to de-fund CSIRO. So when something like Covid comes around, it HAS to look overseas for assistance. @SenSHenderson maybe talk to @jeff_kennett about defining and closing facilities needed and turning around and crying that govt not acting.

The timing of those cheap attacks on the @CSIRO is frightening. The work of experts like CSIRO scientists is what protects Australians from corrupt politicians who have shown during this pandemic that they like to buy their own local advice when it suits their reckless agendas!
