@FLGovScott It was reported that you DO NOT support arming teachers, correct? Yet, your proposed plan allows schools to train 'school personnel' this is a very vague statement. PLEASE DO NOT ARM TEACHERS or general personnel.

Have we thought about metal detectors? I'm sure many parents and teachers would prefer metal detectors vs armed staff. It's a tough choice but given the alternatives metal detectors may be the safest course. Have we even considered ASKING PARENTS, TEACHERS, or STUDENTS?

You also plan on arming teachers, right? The “Marshal plan”? With the news out of Dalton, Georgia with a teacher firing shots inside of the school will your next step be to arm students too? Maybe MORE GUNS isn’t the solution to the GUN PROBLEM?
