  How does the STEM Act help students who can’t afford the college today? Your proposal potentially stops public colleges from raising costs but even you admit the current cost is ridiculous. By doing nothing about the current cost, this won’t help for 50 years!

  Nah, when individuals have to pay they get squeezed for all they're worth. They also can't get flunked out (they are the meal ticket) so the citiculum gets endlessly dumbed down. Schools were much better and cheaper when tax payers footed the bill.
