Today, I joined a group of bi-partisan former Governors who are now in the Senate in a statement on the budget deal.
As Governors we were responsible for setting a budget each year that was fiscally responsible. This deal was fiscally irresponsible.

You know what's irresponsible? Giving a 2 trillion dollar tax cut to people who are already filthy rich. That's what Republicans did in 2017. And -- surprise, surprise -- it did NOT pay for itself, as GOPers always promise trickle down will. In fact, revenues are down.
