The crisis was created by Trump and the GOP to funnel billions of our tax dollars to donor private prisons knowing plenty would be funneled back to GOP campaigns. Using our tax dollars to fund campaigns is wrong. They obviously didn't use the money for what it was intended for.
I’m glad Democrats are now admitting that there is a crisis at the border and are working with us to put funding towards it. But this is simply a band aid for the real crisis.
