Too bad our K-12 ranks in the bottom 20%! That's what we should be focused on rather than "destination higher education" for out-of-state kids coming from states that actually invest in their own children!

Great now what about K-12? Florida House passed $130 million in tax money that could be spent improving public schools next yr & spend it on tuition vouchers at private schools. 2.8 million students left in under-funded, overwhelmed public schools.

Fl ranks near the bottom in spending/student & pay for teachers. Hillsborough County (where i live) has hundreds of teacher vacancies, broken AC systems in dozens of schools will take years to repair

As Governor, we invested record funding for education and kept tuition low. It’s great to see it paying off!
