Part 3: Drug companies CANNOT charge Americans more for prescription drugs than they charge consumers in countries like the UK, Canada or Germany. There is no reason why U.S. companies sell drugs to people in foreign countries far cheaper than what they charge Americans.
Some in Washington have given up on fixing health care. I don’t accept that. I’m working every day to make sure we improve the quality of health care and reduce costs. That starts with bringing down the cost of prescription drugs for Americans.
Sooo... the US government cannot negotiate the prices with the drug companies because it is evil for the Government to interfere, but we're OK letting foreign governments do the negotiations on our behalf?? Got it.
Or instead of yet more regulations, you could expand Direct Primary Care, allow importing drugs from Canada, end patent "evergreening," and fast-track generics.

Yes...and meds are a huge part of pre-existing condition care, particularly for kids and young adults transitioning to their own insurance. Recent experience with son....it’s all toooooo expensive!!!
Well, the reason is that we fit the bill for R & D and those other countries don't.
