There’s lots of reasons New Yorkers are fleeing to Florida; it’s more than just the incredible weather. Read my op-ed in the @WSJ here👇to see how FL is winning and NY is losing in this great marketplace we call America.https://twitter.com/WSJopinion/status/1108690327345553409 …

If New York would cut taxes and regulations, maybe it could compete with Florida again, writes @SenRickScott. https://on.wsj.com/2Js3Rpr

There’s a lot of reason why every strange news headline begins with “Florida Man”.

New York GDP: 1.5 Trillion Florida GDP: 1 Trillion This is despite Florida having a bigger population and more natural resources.

This is nothing new. Wonder how many New Yorkers live in Fla and NY but use Florida as their legal residence to avoid taxes?

“Cut regulations “ you’re an ass! That’s exactly what’s wrong with Florida. Your 8 years of cutting consumer & environmental protections have turned FL into a disaster! You really should get another job because the one you’re doing is a really bad performance! #SlickRickSucks

Upstate NY is also a fine case study on why we need the electoral college. NYC pretty much runs the whole state, and the folks from upstate pay YUGE taxes, and are regulated to death. Why I moved to Florida is no snow, no state income tax, and no pistol ownership permits. cheers
