Tonight’s vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act shows how Dems are beholden to the extremists in their party. There will always be situations when medical personnel face ethical uncertainty. There will always be instances where a combination of factors result in going too far. Bio-ethical guidelines can adequately inform decisions; govt criminal mandates impart no prudence or wisdom.
