Re term limits: We in Michigan recently buried a person who held a congressional seat for 60 years (1955-2015) and died this past month at 92. John Dingell was a nice guy but even so, I think it unhealthy for one person to hold the same office for so long.

His constituents had 30 times to change that.

Thank you. There should be a salary limitation as well. Anyone worth over 5 million dollars should not take a taxpayer funded salary.
@realDonaldTrump donates his presidential salary to charity. What will you do with yours? -
When running for the Senate, Rick Scott mentioned he would NOT take a salary. Politicans can elect to donate their salary to a charity, like Pres Trump and many of his cabinet members. Hence they are just SERVING their country, like many of the "founding fathers"!

How about requiring member recusal from any decision on a political contributor’s business? That could be done by simple rule change and would not violate free speech of would be contributors. Eliminate obvious COIs.

I grifter my way to wealth and I want to make sure only fellow grifters can serve. I'm willing to forgo my pay/pension since I made millions by defrauding Medicare. I don't really need it But I'm not gonna put my wealth in trust, so I can keep grifting as well as possible.
