Must be an election year. You had how long to get started on this? Nothing good ever comes from you on non-election years.

Too bad you prefer being
#RedTideRick than being a responsible governor. If you had, we wouldn't have this red tide or having to pay to clean it up.pic.twitter.com/VB0H8QnXL4

#redtiderick Funding money for clean up isn’t solving the problem causing it. Get to the source of the problem and fund it.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Plan as Governor: kill the Gulf, then start a welfare program. Once the Gulf is unsuitable for marine life or tourism, offshore drilling will likely be the next priority on the Scott/Deepwater horizon.

Reduction in regulations does not make the polluters clean up their mess. We need leaders that don't pander to big sugar. The problems could have been fixed in 2014. Yes, red tide is natural but the blooms came from the polluted water coming out of lake Okeechobee

IF you had not changed funding, cut back on scientific advances in observing and gathering data, we could have controlled this problem. No. You do NOT have my vote and YOU can not buy my vote with a pittance to my county after allowing it to be so badly impacted. Disgusting.

You just Keep back pedaling Ricky, but Floridans know that you were responsible for the environmental degradation that has taken place in the last 8 yrs. Shame on you.

Rick Scott spent the last eight years cutting nearly $700 million from Florida's environmental agencies (many of which oversee algae outbreaks). Don't let him fool you now.https://www.orlandoweekly.com/Blogs/archives/2018/08/13/florida-gov-rick-scott-issues-emergency-order-for-red-tide-algae …
