Rick Scott took a chainsaw to university budgets his first 7 years, and only supported them this year because of the election. In 2012 Forbes wrote an article about how Rick Scott was sabotaging the public universities. Fuchs has to kiss ass bc Scott might veto funding

It was cheaper for me to go to a highly ranked out-of-state private school than to go to UF because of the Bright Futures rollbacks that took place under YOUR tenure. FL deserves a governor who will fight for the talent & retention of low-income students.
