Because the back to school sales tax holiday is being held the same time when many families have to pay their un-affordable rent, we're not able to really take advantage of it. Could we get an extension?
Today is the last day to take advantage of this year’s Back-To-School Sales Tax Holiday, where many back-to-school supplies are tax free. Since I took office in 2010, taxes have been cut nearly 100 times, saving Floridians more than $10 billion.

Nor does it help much with the older kids who don't get supply lists until after school starts.

He was talking about cutting taxes for the uber wealthy and corporations. "Real" people like himself. You know, REAL Floridians according to Mr. Scott. The rest of us exist to serve the likes of him and if we get sick from his polluting policies we should just die quietly.
