Maybe we should reign in the pollution in the area caused by sugar growers which helps feed these algae blooms.
Today, I directed @FLDEPNews to issue an Emergency Order urging the @USACEHQ and @SFWMD to take emergency actions to lower lake levels, help redirect water out of Lake Okeechobee south, and work to mitigate and minimize the impacts of harmful algal blooms. https://bit.ly/2MIf2ba
