Interesting choice of “rank” to describe “democracy.” Here’s what the dictionary says: “malodorous, stinking, fetid, noisome, putrid, rank, fusty, musty mean bad-smelling, may range from the unpleasant to the strongly offensive.” So the process that put you in the Senate stank?
