When other businesses are harmfully negligent, they can be held legally responsible. When it’s the gun industry, there are no consequences because the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act broadly shields them from liability. Gun dealers who turn a blind eye to middle-men buying hundreds of weapons to sell on the streets use PLCAA to avoid legal liability. No one should be able to profit from gun deaths. Repeal PLCAA now.
