If more guns were the answer to preventing mass shootings, the United States would have the lowest rate of mass shootings in the world.
The @NRA must be thrilled @realDonaldTrump’s “solution” to school shootings is to sell more guns to teachers.
To prevent mass shootings, we don't need laws that put guns in the classroom, we need laws that keep guns out of the hands of killers.

I am a highly trained teacher. I teach kids to read, write, and think. I cannot stress this enough: I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE A GUN. I DO NOT WANT COLLEAGUES TO CARRY GUNS. I DO NOT WANT MY KIDS’ TEACHERS TO HAVE GUNS. Keep guns out of schools.

I am a public hs teacher in your state. We need resources (food, books, programs), not guns. We are desperately trying to preserve what remains of our students’ innocences. Not destroy them wholly.

What we need is to vote out any politician who accepts contributions from Russian backed NRA. These young people will get this done. They want action, not more words. Might not be in 2018 but it is coming!

Wait till they propose using private military companies like Eric Prince's (brother of DeVos ironically) to supply armed guards at schools for a lot of government funding.

I can’t say enough how wrong this idea is. Do to all that’s happening making teachers carry guns is another disaster waiting to happen! I personally would not want my children’s teachers carrying! Not to mention the terrible position it put all these teachers in

Teachers barely have supplies they want, but we'll supply them with AR's to counter the other AR? Unless of course you mean handgun...b/c that was so helpful in Vegas.
