Since 1996, a Republican appropriations rider has banned the @CDCgov from researching gun violence because the @NRA fears what scientific studies will show. We should pass my legislation that ends this ban & study gun violence like the public health crisis it is. #GunReformNow

The only reason an organization would push for such a ban is because they fear what the results would be. The NRA terrorists know that their entire illusion would come crashing down around them once results came out

Until legislation becomes debated & enacted, we should station an armed police officer at every public school in America so she or he can respond in seconds, not minutes. Deterrent too.

I don't agree. Most school shooters are fully aware there is a great chance they will get shot. A lot even write suicide notes beforehand. Besides, so now they first shoot the police officer and then the children. I appreciate your thought but I reckon it won't work
