Wonder how much could be done if evangelicals for once considered that maybe just maybe scientists were gods answer to all the prayers??????

Maybe prayers can be answered because God allowed people to become doctors and figure things like vaccines out!

There are so many other diseases and illnesses that kill many more people than the flu and that need funding badly. There will never be a vaccine that works for all flu viruses. Geeez! How much did big pharma pay you to push this?

Evangelicals want the poor to ask Jesus to help keep them from getting sick, while those hypocrites get their flu shots before next Sunday Mass.

You missed the point. The funding is for research to develop a universal flu vaccine that would cover all strains of flu and provide immunity for up to 5 years. It would ultimately decrease costs for vaccine manufacture, distribution and administration and would protect more ppl.

“Immaculate inoculation” will remember that one!
