The profits of US fossil fuels are built on a foundation of government assistance. To the tune of 20 billion a year for which they spent 100 million lobbying/buying our representatives.
This is outrageous. And an understatement.
The @realDonaldTrump administration has a “preference for fossil fuels” and #BigOil will make “a few dollars” from this decision.
