Wrong. The DACA issue is unrelated to the budget. The Democrats are using the only political capital they've got to play divisive politics. They're not gambling with their own $ so they don't mind gambling the farm.
This is the choice the @GOP is offering:
Abandon #Dreamers and allow millions of young Americans to be deported, or, abandon millions of sick, low-income children and let #CHIP go unfunded.
That’s not deal-making, that’s hostage negotiation. #TrumpShutdown
