People should be getting $2,000 a month and it should be retroactive to March because this crisis is not over.

I'm so glad that you're advocating this but also tremendously frustrated knowing that it will never happen. The leaders we have in place don't care about helping struggling American's. They live in a state of perpetual vacation while we struggle to keep ourselves fed.

I have no idea what will happen after the first of the year when COVID unemployment stops. That is, my income. As a freelancer who relied on public classes & events consisting of groups & crowds, w/out financial relief or a nationwide plan to defeat COVID, the future is scary.

Absolutely agree. But how could it actually happen? Do democrats have any leverage or power to make it happen? Or is this some more shot we have to protest for? #FlipTheSenate

Folks, I grew up in East Ky politics. "$2,000 a month retroactive to March" is what you should say to the holler and the hood. Non-stop, starting now. @AmyMcGrathKY @TeamAmyMcGrath @hoodtotheholler

Oof hood to the holler wasn’t a McGrath thing. It’s was her opponent Charles Booker, and I’d be shocked if she said anything this radical.
