Remember this any time you hear we “can’t afford” a #GreenNewDeal, a $15 min wage, #MedicareForAll, etc. The resources exist for everyone in this country to live with dignity, but the working class only hears excuses from the ultra-wealthy and those in power who do their bidding.https://twitter.com/DLeonhardt/status/1181004566088814594 …

what I'm getting from this is that Obama threw a lazy couple of bil at the renewables sector and it more than doubled in size in less than a decade — and continues to make leaps in cost and scalability.pic.twitter.com/JTnzCHAn32

"However, after billions of taxpayer dollars and eight years of President Obama - the most pro-renewable energy president the country has ever had - combined wind and solar power only increased from about 3 percent of all electricity generation in 2008 to 7.6 percent in 2017."

instead of 'GND' why not start with Waxman-Markey? A detailed bill with implementable achievables? Without confusing energy issue w/ labor issues. ps. $15/hr min is great for Boston & Northeast but are you sure it's appropriate for rural Midwest or South where COLA is low??
