So if there's an emergency and we need our military, the Commander in Chief of the military, has to sit around to wait for a slow moving congress to protect ourselves? Yes the 3 branches are a balance of power, but it seems congress is trying to usurp more for themselves.
Last week, Trump said he was minutes away from striking Iran, potentially triggering a wider conflict. We can’t rely on one very flawed individual’s judgment to prevent war. We must pass @SenatorTomUdall’s bill & reassert Congress’s sole constitutional authority to authorize war.
