It’s been 10 years since the last federal minimum wage increase. And decades of wage stagnation. Day in & day out, American min wage workers are doing their jobs, getting more & more productive and getting paid relatively less & less. Congress needs to do its job & #RaiseTheWage.
Massachusetts was one of the first states to pass $15/hour minimum wage legislation. But it wasn’t until after a hard fight. We need to wage that campaign across the country until each and every American worker is paid what they have earned.

Senator, from an economic perspective it would be better to institute a universal basic income in exchange for abolishing the minimum wage
No: The minimum wage was never intended to provide a "living wage" for adults. It is supposed to provide an introduction to the workplace for our youth. Industry no longer needs under-trained/under educated workers.
