There is no doubt they will try to do this again with any climate solutions we put forward. Because while climate change is an existential threat to the planet, climate action is an existential threat to the business model of reckless corporate polluters.
The tactics of polluters haven’t changed much in the 10 years since Waxman-Markey, but our movement has. Groups like @USChamber might have millions in dark, dirty money, but now we have an army of millions of activated Americans demanding climate action.
